I've found the biggest issue with kitchen scales to be the auto shut off feature... Many shut off before you're even done brewing in name of "battery saving." Not only does this scale give an accurate measurement and have a timer, but it doesn't shut off when in use! It also has the ability to use the timer while the scale is off. It's very sturdy and level and the rubber mat is very useful. Hands down the best value I've found in a coffee scale!

I have two of these scales now. After the first one I added another for use elsewhere. Well, issue is the "unit" readings. I always set the scale to grams (g) as that's how I measure. For some unknown reason, this scale continues to default to "grams per mill.." instead of the grams I have selected. So, when measuring coffee my set unit (g) goes away at times and I'm measuring on another scale. Real pain in the backside. I would not buy this scale again, wish I had bought a different one that stays on the unit that I set.

Perfect scale for weighing espresso espresso beans and shots. Battery last for a long time on a single charge. Really like the auto timer feature that detects liquid.
